Windscreen replacement at Bungarribee homes, about 12 km south west of our Rouse Hill base.
Bungarribee is about 12 km south west of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. The land was a horse stud from 1822, when Colonel John Campbell set up the Bungarribee estate to breed horses for the East India Company. Streets such as Steeltrap Drive are named after famous horses bred there. Today it is almost all houses: at the 2021 Census separate houses were 98.0% of homes, and 56.4% of households had two vehicles. In all, 3,177 people lived here. The Great Western Highway is close by, with links to the M4 and M7, and Sydney Zoo opened to the north west in 2019.
Nearby: Rooty Hill, Arndell Park, Doonside, Eastern Creek, Huntingwood. All Blacktown suburbs.
