Mobile windscreen fitting for cars, utes and trucks in Quakers Hill, about 7 km from our Rouse Hill base.
Quakers Hill is about 7 km south west of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies, on the Richmond railway line. It started as a village around the station, which was called Douglas' Siding until it was renamed in 1905. From the 1960s the five-acre farms around the village were cut up for housing. At the 2021 Census 27,893 people lived here, with a median age of 35.
The M7 cuts straight through on its way east to Kings Langley, with an exit at Quakers Hill Parkway, and Richmond Road runs along the southern edge. After the motorway opened in December 2005, the Parkway overpass was widened from two lanes to four, bridge over the railway included, to carry traffic between Richmond Road and Sunnyholt Road. Link roads like this pour motorway traffic, trucks and all, onto local streets. A stone off a truck tyre at that kind of speed is the classic way a windscreen gets a star chip or a crack.
Quakers Hill has more drivers and operators than the state average. At the Census 8.4% of employed residents were machinery operators and drivers, against 6.0% across NSW, and another 10.9% were technicians and trades workers. So we fit truck, ute and van glass as well as family cars, including at the house where the work vehicle is parked. Households are well stocked with cars too: 40.1% had two vehicles and 19.5% had three or more, and 71.2% of homes were separate houses.
We fit in your driveway, on a flat street out front, or at your workplace. TAFE NSW Nirimba on Eastern Road is Western Sydney's hub for building and construction training, with free parking on site, so apprentices can have the ute done during class if the campus is happy for us to work there.
Yes. We fit truck and van windscreens at homes, yards and depots, as long as the truck is parked on firm, level ground with room to work beside the cab.
Yes, if the campus is happy for us to work in its car park. TAFE lists free on-site parking at Eastern Road, so tell us where you have parked.
We also cover Nirimba Fields (1.7 km), Marayong (2.0 km), Dean Park (1.8 km), Woodcroft (2.3 km).
