Windscreens, chip repair and machinery glass in Box Hill, about 4 km from our Rouse Hill base.
Box Hill is next door to us, about 4 km north of our Rouse Hill base. Not long ago it was farmland. The Box Hill and Box Hill Industrial precincts were rezoned from rural to urban zones in April 2013, with room for around 9,600 homes, a town centre and three villages. By the 2021 Census 6,450 people already lived here, with a median age of 31.
A suburb still being built is hard on glass. Earthmovers, concrete trucks and loaded tippers share the roads with new residents, mostly coming in off Windsor Road, Old Pitt Town Road, Boundary Road and Annangrove Road, which form the suburb's edges. The precinct plan also set out upgrades to local roads such as Terry Road and Mason Road, and roadworks bring loose gravel with them.
Box Hill is new houses and young families. Separate houses made up 98.8% of occupied homes at the Census, 86.5% had four or more bedrooms, and only 0.5% of households had no car while 53.4% had two. Then there are the builders and trades working on the estates, and the businesses moving into the industrial precinct, which was planned with 133 hectares of industrial and commercial land.
We fit in your driveway or garage, or on site for builders and plant operators. If your street is still under construction, pick a spot away from the active work and we will meet you there.
Yes. We replace cab glass on excavators, loaders and other plant on site, once the machine is parked up safely and the site supervisor is happy for us to work.
