Mobile windscreen replacement for Riverstone homes, farms and industrial units, about 5.2 km from our Rouse Hill base.
Riverstone is about 5.2 km west of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. It began as a railway town, with a station on the Richmond line since 1864, and is now surrounded by new estates. The Riverstone precinct plan, finalised in 2010, allows for up to 9,000 new homes, and 8,627 people already lived here at the 2021 Census. The median age was 32.
Garfield Road is the bottleneck. Its level crossing over the Richmond line queues traffic, and Transport for NSW wants to widen 800 metres between Piccadilly Street and Denmark Road to four lanes and separate the road from the railway at Railway Terrace. That is still at the design stage. Meanwhile Riverstone West, the employment precinct between Riverstone and Vineyard stations, was planned with a heavy vehicle route from Bandon Road to Garfield Road. Stop and start queues, then trucks accelerating away, are a good recipe for stone chips.
Most people here live in family houses: 94.5% of occupied homes were separate houses at the Census and 49.4% had four or more bedrooms. Two car households were the most common at 41.1%, with another 18.7% running three or more. The town keeps its working side too, with a large industrial area to the north, poultry farms and market gardens, and 14.7% of employed residents working as technicians and trades workers.
We fit in your driveway on the newer estates, at a unit or yard in the industrial area north of town, or beside the sheds on a poultry farm or market garden. Concrete or firm gravel beside the vehicle is fine.
It can, so we plan the route before we leave. Transport for NSW is still at the strategic design stage for separating Garfield Road from the railway, so the level crossing is still in use.
Yes. We fit vans, utes and trucks at units and yards in the industrial area on the northern side of town, as long as there is level ground beside the vehicle.
We also cover Richards (1.7 km), Schofields (2.3 km), Grantham Farm (2.2 km), Angus (2.5 km).
