Kellyville is about 5.6 km south east of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. It used to be even bigger. Beaumont Hills and Kellyville Ridge were split off in 2002, and North Kellyville followed in June 2018. Even after all that it counted 27,011 people in 2021, with a median age of 38. Older streets like The Village around Acres Road, built from the 1960s, sit beside new estates near Memorial Avenue.
Memorial Avenue is the newest big road. Transport for NSW turned its 2.2 km between Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road from two lanes into a four-lane divided road, a 224 million dollar job that ran from the main contract in October 2020 to completion in November 2024. It now has an 80 km/h limit and was built partly to improve access for road freight. Green Road is the other working route, heading down to the Victoria Avenue trading zone in Castle Hill with its car dealers and light industry. Faster traffic and trucks mixing with school runs is how screens pick up chips.

The newest housing near Memorial Avenue got its own Kellyville Grove Shopping Centre in December 2023.
