Marayong is about 8 km south of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. The name came from the railway: NSW Railways gave it to the station on the Richmond line when it opened in October 1922. Richmond Road forms the southern boundary, and the M7 curls around the suburb, with on-ramps at Sunnyholt Road in Kings Park and at Richmond Road in Dean Park.
