Whalan is about 14 km south west of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies, and some of its roads have an unusual past. An RAAF camp was here during World War II, remembered by RAAF Park, and an old airfield runway is still the main road into Whalan Reserve. Before the Housing Commission built the suburb in the mid 1960s, the old Mount Druitt motor racing track ran along that runway and parts of Luxford Road and Kuringai Avenue. At the 2021 Census 5,929 people lived here, and 22.4% of employed residents were machinery operators and drivers. Our fitting is done at your place, wherever you are in the suburb.
