Tregear is about 14 km south west of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. The name comes from the Lethbridge family's estate in Cornwall. The family held the land until 1942, when the RAAF took it over, and it was sold in 1951. At the 2021 Census 3,700 people lived here, with a median age of 30.
