Beaumont Hills is about 3.4 km south east of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. It was the part of Kellyville north of Samantha Riley Drive until 2002, and it was built as a low-density suburb. The numbers show it. At the 2021 Census 99.1% of homes were separate houses, there were no apartments at all, and 92.1% of homes had four or more bedrooms. 9,041 people lived here, with a median age of 38.
Windsor Road runs past the suburb, the same road the White Hart Inn served in the 1820s as a stable and stopover on the way to Windsor. Its foundations are now a heritage-listed archaeological site. Today Windsor Road is a major four-lane route from North Parramatta to Windsor. Inside the suburb, buses run along Mungerie Road, The Parkway and Brampton Drive, and Samantha Riley Drive takes local traffic to Kellyville station on Old Windsor Road. Buses and trucks at close range are a common source of flying stones.
