Windscreen replacement brought to your driveway in North Kellyville, about 3.6 km from our Rouse Hill base.
North Kellyville is about 3.6 km east of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies. Not long ago it was rural land. Council's precinct between Smalls Creek, Cattai Creek and Samantha Riley Drive was rezoned in December 2008, with planning now set for around 7,200 homes, and it only became a suburb in its own right on 29 June 2018. By the 2021 Census it already had 17,401 residents and a median age of 33.
The whole precinct leans on two roads. Council describes Hezlett Road and Withers Road together as its single sub-arterial route, so almost every trip in or out uses one of them. Both have been under construction in turn. In 2024 Council awarded the work to swap the Withers and Barry Roads roundabout for traffic lights and to signalise Hezlett and Barry Roads with a new bypass. Next on the list is a four-lane Withers Road from Massie Street to Ironbark Ridge Road, with a new bridge over Smalls Creek. Roadwork zones and building traffic leave grit on the bitumen.
Young families in new houses make up most of the suburb. At the Census 82.4% of homes were separate houses and 77.5% had four or more bedrooms. Almost half of households (48.3%) ran two vehicles and another 20.1% had three or more. Professionals (32.5%) and managers (19.1%) lead the workforce, and 9.8% of workers were technicians and trades workers, so work utes park up beside the family car.
Home driveways are the usual spot. If you have moved into one street while the next is still a building site, we can fit on the site with the builder's OK. Shopping at North Kellyville Square on Withers and Hezlett Roads, or North Village on Hezlett and Beaton Roads? Ring first and we can work out where to meet the car.
Roadworks can slow us down, but we plan the trip around them. Council's plan is a four-lane Withers Road from Massie Street to Ironbark Ridge Road, so tell us if you live near that stretch.
