Mobile windscreen replacement on Cattai farms and river properties, about 15 km from our Rouse Hill base.
Cattai is about 15 km north of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies, out where the Hawkesbury River forms the north west boundary and Cattai Creek runs through the middle. It sits across two councils, The Hills and Hawkesbury, and takes in Cattai National Park and Riverside Oaks Golf Resort. At the 2021 Census 1,077 people lived here, with a median age of 40.
Cattai Road is the way in, and it becomes Wisemans Ferry Road where it crosses Cattai Creek. When Transport for NSW closed Old Northern Road for night resurfacing in 2024, it sent northbound traffic this way too, via Pitt Town Road and Cattai Road. Off the main road it gets rougher. NSW National Parks lists the road to the Cattai picnic area as unsealed, and the access to the Mitchell Park tracks as a mix of sealed and unsealed. Gravel thrown up by the vehicle in front is how a lot of chips start.
Cattai is working country. At the Census 18.3% of employed residents were technicians and trades workers and 8.4% were machinery operators and drivers. The top industries included plumbing, site preparation, landscape construction and road freight. Households averaged three vehicles, and 48.9% had three or more. That means tippers, excavators, trucks and work utes as well as the family car.
We fit at the house, the shed or the truck yard, wherever there is firm, level ground beside the vehicle. If you work out at the golf resort or on a property along Wisemans Ferry Road, we can meet you there. Tell us about any gravel driveway so we know what to expect.
Yes. Site preparation and road freight are among the top industries for locals, and we fit truck windscreens and machine cab glass at your yard or on site.
Yes. Some local roads, including the run into the national park picnic area, are unsealed. We drive in carefully and just need firm, level ground to work beside the vehicle.
We also cover Ebenezer (3.9 km), South Maroota (5.2 km), Maraylya (5.8 km), Sackville North (6.4 km).
“Had a number of windscreens fitted by Spot On Windscreens. Excellent, thanks Cameron.”
