Galston is about 14 km east of our Rouse Hill base as the crow flies, on the Hornsby side of the Hills. It grew as a farming town, once known for its orchid growers, and still sits in a horticulture belt with Middle Dural and Arcadia. At the 2021 Census 3,195 people lived here, with a median age of 46.
